Inflation and Interest Rates: “Higher for Longer” or “Lower, Sooner”?
James Stellick, Managing Director at Focus, recently hosted an evening with David Rosenberg, Founder & President of Rosenberg Research. In front of over 100 guests at the Park Hyatt Hotel, David delivered a thoughtful thesis as to why inflation will abate, interest rates will fall, and bonds will (finally) have more fun. Joining James and David for a fireside chat after David’s economic perspective was Jeff Hales, Managing Director & Portfolio Manager at Focus. We heard from Jeff on how investors can position their portfolio for such an environment, and where we are finding attractive opportunities in markets today as bottom-up investors. The fireside chat was followed by a cocktail reception and the opportunity for guests to engage in conversation with our panelists.
